Peer Review Process

Peer Review Process
All manuscripts submitted to the journal undergo a peer review process to ensure their quality, originality, relevance, and scholarly contribution. The review process is conducted objectively, transparently, and in accordance with established standards of publication ethics.
1. Initial Screening
Each submitted manuscript is initially screened by the editor to determine its compliance with the journal's focus and scope, author guidelines, manuscript structure, and administrative and publication ethics requirements. Manuscripts may also be checked using plagiarism detection software.
2. Editorial Assessment
The editor conducts an initial assessment of the manuscript's quality and relevance. Manuscripts that are outside the journal's focus and scope or fail to meet the basic requirements may be rejected at the editorial stage without proceeding to peer review.
3. Reviewer Assignment
Manuscripts that pass the initial screening are assigned to at least two reviewers with relevant expertise and competence in the subject area of the manuscript. The journal applies a double-blind peer review system, in which the identities of both authors and reviewers are kept confidential throughout the review process.
4. Review Process
a. Reviewers evaluate manuscripts based on several aspects, including:
    • originality and novelty of the research;
    • relevance to the journal's field of study;
    • clarity of research objectives and research questions;
    • appropriateness of the research methodology;
    • quality and analysis of data;
    • discussion and interpretation of findings;
    • contribution to the development of knowledge;
    • quality of references and citations; and
    • clarity and organization of the manuscript.
b. Reviewers provide one of the following recommendations:
    • Accept Submission – the manuscript is accepted;
    • Revision Required – revisions are required;
    • Resubmit for Review – the manuscript requires substantial revision and further review;
    • Resubmit Elsewhere – the manuscript is not suitable for the journal; or
    • Decline Submission – the manuscript is rejected.
5. Manuscript Revision
When revisions are requested, authors are required to revise the manuscript in accordance with the reviewers' comments and recommendations. Authors may also be required to provide a response to each reviewer comment through a response document or revision notes.
6. Re-Review
A revised manuscript may be returned to the same reviewers to determine whether the comments and recommendations have been adequately addressed. The editor may determine whether one or more rounds of review are necessary.
7. Editorial Decision
The final decision to accept or reject a manuscript is made by the editor based on the peer review results, manuscript quality, and editorial considerations. The editorial decision is made independently while taking into account academic standards and the journal's quality requirements.
8. Publication
Accepted manuscripts proceed to final editorial processing, formatting, and proofreading before being published online through the journal's OJS platform.
Review Timeline
The journal strives to complete the review process efficiently and within a reasonable timeframe. The duration may vary depending on the complexity of the manuscript, reviewer availability, and the number of revision rounds required.

The journal is committed to maintaining manuscript confidentiality, reviewer independence, objective assessment, and academic integrity throughout the peer review process.
